How Keto Cottage Began
Before our keto lifestyle journey began, we made and sold Cinnamon Glazed Bavarian Nuts—yes, packed with sugar! They were a hit, and we genuinely loved making them (and eating them). But over time, we knew something had to change. For health reasons, we made the decision to cut out sugar and embrace a low-carb lifestyle.
But this created a dilemma: we no longer felt right selling a sugar-heavy product we wouldn't eat ourselves. That’s when we began experimenting with a sugar-free praline alternative. After plenty of trial and error, we created a version we loved and replaced our original nuts on the website.
Next came peanut butter cookies—sugar-free, of course—made just for us. But they were so good, we thought: why not share them with our customers too? And just like that, Keto Cottage was born in 2016.
All of our baked goods are sweetened with either a no-sugar Erythritol/Stevia blend or Monkfruit sweetener, depending on the recipe. Each product listing includes the sweetener used, so you’ll always know what you’re getting. All of our products are also GLUTEN FREE!
We’re constantly testing and refining new recipes to offer you the best treats possible. It’s become a true labor of love. We're especially proud to help diabetics and health-conscious people enjoy sweets without compromising their health.
The best part of our story? We feel amazing. We've lost weight, gained mental clarity, and our bloodwork is amazing. And we still get to indulge in delicious treats—just the healthy kind.
